Being the longest running specialised programme delivering organisational psychology education in Ireland, the MSc in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour programme is one of the most robust and insight-rich organisational psychology programmes out there.
Offered by Dublin City University (DCU), one of Ireland’s top universities, this Master of Science programme is designed to provide aspiring leaders and organisational behaviour specialists with extensive insight into organisational behaviour and workplace leadership.
The programme, covers a wide spectrum of topics which are essential to individuals wanting to become professionally qualified organisational behaviour specialists. These include: organisational psychology; strategy and organisation; entrepreneurship and innovation; leadership and change; applied organisational research methods; employee selection, motivation and development; contrasting approaches to performance and well-being; organisational diagnosis and consulting; coaching and mentoring; and talent management. A key feature of this Master’s programme is its structure which is built on the ‘Adult Learning Module’. This model of learning emphasises collaborative and participative team learning and draws heavily on the experiences and insights of participants rather than on the lecturer as expert. Another key feature of the programme is its unique part-time delivery mode which has been specifically designed to suit the time commitments of working professionals. The programme is delivered on a part-time basis in blocks of three or four day seminars four times a year. A fly-in faculty of Irish professors will visit the Academy of Business Leaders to deliver the programme. Students will also have the opportunity to complete one module at Dublin City University.

This Master’s Degree is awarded by Dublin City University. The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) deems this qualification to be at Level 7 in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
This course is delivered in blocks of three or four full day seminars that take place during the weekend once every 3 months over the span of four semesters. A flying faculty of professors, will join us from Ireland to deliver this programme. Students will also have the opportunity of completing a module at Dublin City University.
Candidates for the MSc in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour should be in possession of a degree and have three years’ management experience. Alternatively, students may sit for an interview with Dublin City University in order to determine eligibility. An excellent command of written English is required.
Assessment of the programme is by semester papers, group work, performance assessment and research project. All modules are assessed by continuous assessment with no formal exams.
