The Digital Marketing & Social Media module seeks to provide students with the skills necessary for an entrepreneur to understand the role of digital marketing and the manner in which social media can be successfully utilised by SMEs to promote and grow their activities. It seeks to identify best practice and provide an overview of current social media tools and services that are available to entrepreneurs and managers of SMEs to drive the start-up or established organisation.
The Digital Marketing & Social Media course is an EQF/MQF Level 5 course accredited with 8 ECTS credits. This course is designed to give students an understanding of Digital Marketing issues that may arise in a business environment and to provide them with the necessary insight to identify and tackle these issues. This course is also one of the specialist modules which are part of the Undergraduate Higher Diploma in SME Management Programme. The duration of the course is 6 weeks and delivered fully online.
