Certificate in Advanced Data Analysis

This course tackles a number of tasks related to handling data, which is why it is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career as IT System Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Analysts, among others. It shall help it’s learners identify and define various approaches to gather and manage data and information. Furthermore, it will allow them to gain the necessary competences to collaborate with peers when it comes to generating reports and monitoring changes in data.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this course, students should be in possession of minimum ECDL Advanced Spreadsheets (or similar) and English Language (EU Self Assessment level C). If you do not meet the standard entry requirements and are adequately prepared to succeed in this programme, we welcome and encourage you to contact us for an interview.

Assessment Mode

There will be three types of assessments for this course:

  • Time constrained assignment – Students will have to do the assignment in class. This will be a practical assignment that needs to be done on a computer.
  • Home assignment – Students will have a period of time to prepare work at home backed up by research and self-study
  • Presentation – Some of the work will have to be presented in class.

Delivery Mode

This Certificate in Advanced Data Analysis is delivered through a combination of seminars and work-based learning. Classroom-based sessions will take place in the form of seminars and one-to-one mentoring sessions.

Who is this course for?

This course is intended for those who are aged 18+ and aspire to work or are already working as data scientists, machine learning engineers, business intelligence analysts, logistics analysts, data architects, business systems analysts, or marketing analysts.

Language of Instruction

This programme will be delivered in English.

Location of Lectures

Lectures will be delivered at Business Leaders Hub, 160, Mdina Road, Zebbug, Malta, ZBG 9015.
